Steady Rush

Found these ladies by accident while nosing around youtube. Their sound stopped me dead in my tracks! A few years ago I wrote a review on The Wreckers (Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp). and I had stated that each of them, on their own, were incredible talents, but when they got together, pure magic! And to be quite honest I really never thought I would see that again. But Steady Rush have it, and that’s a rarity. I can’t speak for them as solo acts because I never heard them that way, but at the end of the day it’s a moot point because they’ve captured that mojo, or spark, or fire or whatever you want to call it. This video is a great barometer because it captures them in an impromptu performance live at Normans Rare Guitars. So what you get is two massively talented (and cute as hell) singers, two barstools, one acoustic guitar and a killer tune. No slick productions or fiddling with the recording, just pure music. Alot of “pros” can’t do that. These girls are gonna go far! Check em out
